Hello everyone!

The date is getting closer... only 3 days left until DEPO's 4th Anniversary!

It's been 4 years since the game was released and... wow, so much has happened since then. I never imagined how much this project would mean to me or how many amazing people I'd meet because of it.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting DEPO throughout all these years and for enjoying the game as much as I've enjoyed developing it. ❤️

And to think that development actually started 11 years ago...

A New Chapter for DEPO

Like everything in life, every chapter eventually comes to an end.

Due to a lack of time (Rombykon's development, work, and life in general), I can no longer dedicate to DEPO the time it deserves.

But this doesn't mean the end of the game. It simply marks the end of my journey as DEPO's lead developer. From now on, Mxyfell will take over the development of DEPO.

I fully trust him. He knows the project inside and out, understands the game perfectly, and he's one of the very few people I believe can continue this journey. I'm convinced he'll do an amazing job, and I hope you'll support him just as you've supported me throughout all these years. ❤️

New Events

🎈 Anniversary Balloon Contest (Rombykon Special)

Collect special balloons scattered throughout the world.
Unlock exclusive Rombykon skins (1 skin for each balloon collected).
Special leaderboard with rewards.
Rombykon Steam keys will be awarded to the winners!

🥚 Egg Hunt Streak Contest

New online contest based on streaks.
Find eggs consecutively without missing any to climb the leaderboard.

New Features

Online chat history.
Steam Rich Presence. (Your Steam status will now display the level you're playing and how many players are with you.)
Egg Hunt filters.
Egg Hunt streak system.
Online Soccer. (You can finally play football with your friends in the Fitxel Zone and Shike's Garden!)
6 new online skins.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Added more fanarts to art gallery.
Fixed some english sentences.
Increased the online message character limit to 70.
Fixed the oversized save files (the game no longer freezes when saving or loading).
The Kernel and Central Server now use worker threads, improving performance.
Mirrors and pixel effects are now less blurry.
Added a sleep effect to Death Pixels Base.
Added subtle dust effects to Old Commercial Zone and Blind Compiler.
Adjusted multiple animations.
Fixed a bug in the Art Gallery and the Death Pixels Base portal camera.
Credits have been redesigned.
Floating objects now move more smoothly.
The "Incorrect Version" panel can now be closed immediately by pressing Ctrl instead of waiting 5 seconds.
SAMus pillars now rotate differently.

🎮 Steam Deck compatibility verification in progress.
💯 100% Speedrun improvement: You no longer need to replay levels to complete the time challenge! Now the invisible timer starts right when the level begins, even on your first playthrough (even if the official timer isn't unlocked yet). This change only affects 100% speedruns and will not count for online records to avoid any issues.
📦 The total item count in the inventory now updates correctly after acquiring new items.
🎭 The Regurgitator can now spit out the new anniversary event skins.
🥋 Online outfits fit better on NPCs in the level editor.
👑 Crown skins now use metallic materials, making those 3 unique skins even more special.
🚪 Reworked the access area to SAMson to make it visually more consistent.
🛡️ SAMus should no longer be able to kill you if you’ve already touched him.
🎅 Christmas hat can now be obtained on both December 24th and 25th. (Previously only available on the 25th)

🔁 In Random mode, even after unlocking double/triple jump, single-jump levels can still appear.
🌅 Day/night cycle can now be activated in Escape mode.
