Update 0.19 is here! Patch Notes Added Ice attack upgrades, and fire attack upgrades! Level up any Special attack to level 6 or above to purchase the Fire or Ice attack upgrades. Fire attacks apply the Burn status to the Wak-Bot and trigger 3 quick explosions which keep the Wak-b

Added Ice attack upgrades, and fire attack upgrades! Level up any Special attack to level 6 or above to purchase the Fire or Ice attack upgrades. Fire attacks apply the Burn status to the Wak-Bot and trigger 3 quick explosions which keep the Wak-bot airborne. This can be great to help lock the Wak-Bot in place to deliver more attacks! Ice attacks apply the Frozen status to the Wak-Bot. For a short time the Wak-bot will fall faster, but will then shatter causing a large vertical knockback. The trick to this upgrade is to use other attacks to hold the Wak-bot in place until the shatter occurs!
Added 'New' tags to ability upgrades when they are first unlocked. Tags for move upgrades/new moves is on the way.
Updates have slowed down a bit with life and COVID getting in the way, but I'm still making steady progress. Vanilla 0.19 is only the beginning of this new push. 0.19 will start with Ice & Fire attacks, but there is much more on the way including additional customization options (color changing finally!), more QOL improvements for the UI, and a brand new background stage!

Right now there is no ability to reset and play the tutorial again for existing players, but that is soon to come.

It's been a little bit but I have a few new fixes I think you'll like. The first is a fix for a bug that has been bothering me for a while, sometimes in a chaotic combo you would press the buttons for super 2 and super 1 would come out. This should no longer happen!
Also added the ability to bring up the combo end menu before you do a combo, in case you need to upgrade or change your moves. You can now just press Start/Options at anytime to bring up the menu.
And I've added a setting that was requested by an early access player, the ability to increase the hitStop within the game.
The full tutorial is almost ready, I am just going to spend one more day recording some example video's that will help explain some of the more difficult concepts. Expect that sometime next week and then it's on to version 0.19!

Removed a bug that would cause the incorrect super to be activated when used.
Added the ability to access the combo ending menu before launching the Wak-bot. Just hit the Start or Options button on your controller before you launch.
Added an Extra HitStop option to the settings menu. This adds extra pause to the game when your attack hits. You can set this to a setting that feels right for you.

A few new fixes going in today. I found an exploit right before launch that could lead to using mulit-hit moves infinitely. To quickly fix the issue I ended up making multi-hit moves weaker than I would have wanted until I could get this proper fix in.
Also I've been wanting to get this mission shortcut in for a while so you can quickly move to another mission once you complete the current one.
Still working on fleshing out the tutorial and a few extra quality of life features before I move on to 0.19.

Multi-hitting moves will now lose durability properly and not break as quickly.
Re-added Infinite mode activation animation and made infinite mode able to cancel attacks.
Added a shortcut to pick a new mission on mission completion.
