This year, Atari and Infogrames have introduced a brand new update to Totally Reliable Delivery Service, improving gameplay, allowing players to reliably deliver packages with each other cross-platform, and introducing the new Sandbox mode which allows you to engage with the open-world at your own pace with everything unlocked!
We have also introduced a brand new DLC pack, Atari Attire, which includes a ton of Atari-themed cosmetics, as well as new deliveries and multiplayer events, with another DLC pack on the way, Mascot Mayhem.

Because the work to unify features, including cross-platform play and universal leaderboards, across platforms is complicated, we will be releasing this update one platform at a time. Next up is the macOS version for Steam, followed by Epic Games, then consoles, and eventually mobile. Stay tuned for more news, we expect the additional PC releases to be coming quite soon.

The new update will also increase the player count from four to five, in addition to adding cross-platform play and universal leaderboards. Players will also be treated to two new DLCs that expand the game’s offering with new content, native versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and physical distribution for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

Pre-orders begin today for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 ($29.99 USD) physical versions, which will include the two new DLCs and all the content from prior DLCs, including Stunt Sets, Cyberfunk and Dress Code. The Totally Reliable Delivery Service physical versions are expected to ship and hit retail shelves on September 12.Total Reliable Delivery Service is an all-ages multiplayer sendup of the package delivery world. In launching the new label, Atari is reviving a legacy brand known for game development and global distribution from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.
“For decades, Infogrames built a reputation as a publisher and developer of amazing and eclectic games, and we are excited to bring it back,” said Wade Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Atari.
Infogrames' purpose is to acquire IP and publish games, across multiple genres, that fall outside the core portfolio of IP associated with the Atari brand. Over time, the portfolio may also include some of the legacy titles first published by Infogrames. Interested developers and IP holders can reach out at [email protected].
Infogrames intends to actively manage its catalog of titles by expanding digital and physical distribution, and developing new collections and sequels. Consistent with Atari’s approach, Infogrames sees game preservation as a core component of its mission.
Purchase of Totally Reliable Delivery Service from tinyBuild LLC
Infogrames also announced its first IP acquisition with the purchase of the Totally Reliable Delivery Service games, trademarks and underlying property from tinyBuild LLC. First released in 2019, Totally Reliable Delivery Service is an all-ages multiplayer sendup of the package delivery world, set in an open sandbox full of absurd gadgets, unlikely delivery vehicles and a healthy dose of chaos.

🔍 Totally Reliable TUTORIAL:
Your first day as a delivery driver can get smoother now with the new Tutorial Session. Before you hop on a larger truck and find your journey a little too bumpy, run through the training tasks located in the Warehouse first and hone your skills. Never underestimate the power of a good onboarding experience.
🚀 Rocket Car Rally Event:
Fly the Rocket Car from GASA in the fastest way possible and be the first in your group to reach the Hustle Beach! Following the cart racing event, a new Rocket Car Rally Event is now live in the game. Boost to the beach safe and fast, captain.
🎇Summertime Fireworks:
Get a BANG out of your Totally Reliable ride and celebrate the summer with some splendid fireworks. Interactable objects that can turn into fireworks have been implemented around the map exclusively for this summertime!
🔰 Added Hooks for more secure deliveries in the air:
How about having both hands available to focus on a nice sky stunt when flying the biplane or the helicopter? The newly added hooks on the vehicles can save your trouble of having to multitask between being a good captain and worrying about losing the packages. Simply hang your stuff on the attached hooks in flight and leave the concerns behind!
Besides the mentioned updates above, there are a number of other major changes that can improve your delivery experience！
- Updated Main Menu Flow - Now you can choose from Play Local / Play Online / Tutorial
- Joystick HUD Visualizer - On-screen interface to help visually teach our Totally Reliable joystick interactions (always on in Tutorial and toggle in Settings for switching on in main game)
- Character Strength Improvement - Strength now builds over time, resulting in the character being twice as strong as before
- Ping Deliveries - Find the location of deliveries/events in game through pinging it in the Leaderboards pause menu tab
- And more!

We have also just integrated a new outfit, proposed by one of our players who won the Costume Contest last month (Hey @CleMad!). Check-it out below, and in-game of course!
List of changes included in this update:
- New Key binding feature,
- Mouse & Keyboard vehicle/right hand joystick controls greatly improved,
- Leaderboard are at the end of rally events,
- Hook mechanism for placing packages on helicopters and some forklifts,
- New Steampunk Outfit,
- Breakable arrow signs,
- Notifications reduced at top center of screen when in rally event,
- Adjustments to controls diagrams for readability,
- Fix helmet persisting invincibility bug,
- Fix hair/hats not refreshing after losing helmet,
- Fix bug where online guest players lose wings but still can fly,
- Fix issue with outfits reverting when trying to apply outfits using mouse,
- Reduce Dumpster Cart engine audio by 40%,
- Reduce metal sign clank by 40% and all vehicle impact SFX by 20%,
- The respawn button in map no longer toggles run when online,
- Fix pause menu opening when closing wizard dialog with ESC,
- Removed collision from pinwheels,
- Stop stop signs from popping up a little when getting near them,
- Remove vehicle flipper mechanic from helicopter,

- Starting positions for Rally Events are now randomized
- Reduce background noise network bandwidth consumption for sleeping race obstacles
- Race checkpoint colliders have been adjusted
- Slowed player rotation while walking for more precise maneuverability
- Reduce camera assist left/right target angle corrections for better control
- Left/right deadzone improvements for jetski and land vehicles
- Water ramp boosts now add force over time instead of all at once
- Players no longer ungrapple from jetski when landing after a jump

We're still hard at work on making improvements and fixed to the game! Here is therefore a new update which contains A LOT of cool tweaks and tricks. Check it out below. This update contains the following changes:
- Location-based achievements can now be (re)done if an earlier attempt failed to record properly.
- The vehicle enter assist no longer goes off more than needed for online guest players.
- Revamped the whole character respawn system to reduce frame drops when a player respawns, or a new player arrives in the game.
- Talking to the wizard will now work properly when playing as a guest player on an online server.
- Updated the « Secret code » input field localization and spacing.
- Various character cosmetic fixes.
- Made some changes on the Palm tree collider.
- The password menu will not lose focus anymore due to auto-refresh of the server list.
- Added a UI canvas optimization for local and online games.
- Fixed colliders for non-playable characters when playing as a guest player on an online server.
- Fixed controls in the tutorial pop-up completion phase when playing as a guest player on an online server.
- Fixed an issue with the « Hide UI » toggle in Photo Mode.
- Fixed an issue related to purchasing items in the character shop.
- Fixed an issue with double-click for pings on the in-game map.
- Fixed the join room hanging after joining and leaving a password protected server.
- Fixed clipping on lock crates.
- The host can now interact with wizards even though a client is in the wizard panel already.
- Fixed an issue with initial tutorial tips being hidden when they should not be.
- Fixed an issue with grab prompt icons not being visible in initial tutorial tips.
- Initial tutorial tips are now also displayed when playing as a guest player on an online server.
- Launching a local game, dropping out, and joining a « Quick Start » game will no longer crash the game.
- Equipping an item in the customization menu will no longer readjust the scroll bar.
- Fixed a bug where you could not use the chat box after going to the shop.
- Fixed an online bug where players could not move back or left upon joining a server.

As we saw a lot of impressive costume choices you had, we want to hold this limited time TRDS Costume Contest to let you show off your looks for your little drivers! Needless to say, all amazing fashion designers that stand out will get a great prize. This can also be your opportunity to have your design come to life in the game!
When can I join the TRDS Costume Contest
The first round will start today and our internal team will pick 5 winners from all submissions on Tuesday, May 4th, 12:00pm PT. After that, we will initiate a public poll on our Discord server so you all have the chance to vote for the most fashionable look to your eyes!

How to participate?
To participate, you simply need to put together a costume using the available pieces in Totally Reliable Delivery Service or even draft out your own design which is not yet in the Totally Reliable shop. Submitting a screenshot or a short clip of your work to the #Screenshot channel in our Discord server or here on Steam at the Screenshots tab with a simple sentence of explanation will be considered participation.
What can I get if I win?
- For the ultimate champion: the champion who gets selected from the public poll will be granted a chance to have their design come to life in the game! Our team will work to realize the champion’s outfit designs in the Totally Reliable shop so everyone who participated in the contest can decorate their drivers with the pieces.
- For all 5 finalists: a key to whichever DLC they prefer.

More fixes, changes and improvements to make the life of all our delivery drivers easier!
This update contains the following changes:
- Canceling the dialog box in the cosmetics shop will no longer disable shop control.
- Leaving the cosmetics shop after having bought a new vehicle skin will no longer make characters spawn at the vehicle shop.
- Additional photo mode text has been localized in all supported languages.
- Added a toggle in the settings panel to allow deactivation of the controller rumble.
- Fixed Sunset Beach respawn which would make characters respawn at Stunt Set Island instead.
- Some area names avec been localized on the in-game map.
- In-game map area names have been moved to the top layers of the map.
- Red padlocks on locked zones have been changed for purple padlocks indicating where the wizard is situated.
- On zone un-lock the padlock correctly changes to « unlocked » status on the map and the fog is withdrawn from that area on the map as well.
- Leaving the paint shop for a second time will not longer disable paint shop control.
