We’ve just released a maintenance patch for the game, including a few UI fixes and on-going work for Steam Deck support. Plus upon finishing the game there’s a little teaser for JUSTICE SUCKS, the spiritual successor to Roombo!
The game is now playable on Deck, but a little more work will be needed before we get officially Deck verified. Please let us know if you run into any issues on Deck!

We were thrilled with how much you all loved Roombo and wanted to give you more, so we've partnered with tinyBuild to bring you this hot new digital entertainment experience.
We took on feedback about the things you liked, the things that needed improvement, improved pretty much every aspect of the game and included a full story-mode with plenty of exciting locations to explore and munch up bad guys!
While we were unable to use the name "Roombo" for the sequel, we hope you fall in love with our renamed robotic friend, Dusty McClean, in JUSTICE SUCKS!

Playing as Dusty, together with his fighting spirit Sexy McClean, you need to hack, hide and suck your way to freedom, protecting the family and restoring the peace. Develop your strategies in a roster of vibrant environments, ranging from a summertime cruise ship to the heavily guarded headquarters of your ultimate enemy, FamilyCorp.
The enemies differ in styles and powers so make plans accordingly. Electrocute the thieves with power outlets, trap them between sliding doors, knock them down with falling fans; there are unlimited approaches to take. We’re thrilled today to finally unveil our new project, JUSTICE SUCKS: RECHARGED! Part sequel, part spiritual successor to Roombo: First Blood, this game takes the concept of the vigilante robot vacuum and cranks it up to radical new heights!
Our team has seen and heard many of your messages asking for more Roombo, and we’re so happy to be able to finally answer those calls!

We challenged ourselves to turn Roombo from a fun experiment into a fully fledged game experience, one for you to fall in love with and that will keep giving with its unexpected, hilarious sandbox potential. We’re fixing the things you didn’t like, improving the things you loved and adding a whole bunch of awesome new features that we’re excited to show you in the coming months.
For now, we only have a bit of info to share, but you’ll be able to get hands on with a demo very soon during PAX Online from September 12 - 20th!

We have some news to share! We’ve been keeping an eye on your feedback, and one of the major complaints we’ve noticed has been the tank controls. Whilst this was a core part of the design, it’s clear that many players do not have a good experience with this control scheme.
New Control Scheme Option - Free Movement
After some debate, we’ve decided to add non-tank controls as an option! This way, players will still be able to experience the original scheme if they would like, or change to an easier “free movement” control scheme. This WILL make the game less challenging, but we think those that use the new “free movement” scheme will still have a great time.
You can select your movement style when you play the first level, or in the in the Options menu!
The update also includes a host of performance optimisations to allow the game to run better across all machines! And Steam trading cards too! Neat!
Price Increase
Additionally, we’d like to announce we are planning a price increase to $4.99. We don’t take the decision lightly, but please let me explain: Our reasoning for the increase is:
We’ve added several new features (localisation, controller support, optimisations) since initial release
We would like to bring the Steam version to price parity with the Nintendo Switch version
The price-point of $2.99 has not been sustainable for our studio. In the past 10 months on Steam, we have only earned equivalent to two weeks worth of company running costs.
The price increase will be taking effect starting August 15th. So please grab the game before then if you'd like it at the lower price. :)
I hope you will understand our reasoning, and that this slight bump will make a sizable difference for our small team in the long run. The longer we can survive, the more likely it’ll be for us to make new adventures for little Roombo.

This patch also adds:
Made TVs and Speakers explosive
Added basic tutorial for hacking in first level
Made ram attack more generous
Various fixes for controller navigation
More visual effects for Roombo in Sprint mode

[edit2] We have a fix on the experimental branch for the volume settings bug.
If you'd like to try it, access the experimental branch as follows: 1. Open Steam and go to your games library. 2. Right click on Roombo: First Blood and select "Properties" 3. Navigate to the "Betas" tab 4. Enter password "samuraipunkco" 5. Select "experimental" from the dropdown
Once we've done some more QA and confirmed it's stable, we'll release it to the public.
