I appreciate people's understanding. I'm a solo developer doing this in my spare time, and unfortunately I can't keep track of the community hub as much as I'd like.

It appeared that there was an issue when I created builds for the game, but after doing a clean build and testing, the issue appears to be resolved.

If you want to check out 1.6 it is available in the 'betas' section under the 'bug-fixes-experimental' branch.

It's called PARANOIHELL. It's a chaotic nightmare about a woman trying to get home. Gameplay is inspired by the gameplay of PSX-style survival horror games. Use weapons to defend yourself from enemies, set traps, or hide. But don't be reckless, your resources are limited. Thorough exploration and careful item management will be key to survival.

This is unrelated to THE DEVIL HAUNTS ME, but I just wanted to make a formal announcement that I am working on a NEW horror game:

It's about a mother, her son, and the anxious horrors that have been festering for much too long...
Gameplay will be more in the vein of classic survival horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, with some light RPG elements.

Just wanted to let you all know that I just uploaded a patch which addresses some bugs, and also makes a couple changes to the difficulty of the game.
Here's whats new:
The Devil difficulty ramping changed. There is now an additional "state" the Devil can enter, where it will fire 2 fireballs. The Devil will still fire 3 fireballs after a certain number of days however.
Timing between fireballs adjusted so there is more time for players to dodge (at later days)
Bug where the Gamepad + Audio settings would change when you tabbed out of the game now fixed. In general, these settings work better than they did before.
Game will automatically pause if you tab out of the game
Fixed bug that involved pausing the game
After completing the game, and continuing your save, you will start with full stamina so you don't accidentally start a new day
And that's it! I realize that there were a few more bugs that people had mentioned in the community hub, but after hours of testing, I've been having a hard time replicating them. I've attempted to fix up code that should fix certain bugs, but unfortunately I can't be certain the bugs are actually fixed.
That all being said, please let me know in the community hub if you run into anymore issues!

THE DEVIL HAUNTS ME has officially launched on Steam! If you enjoyed playing the game, I encourage you to consider purchasing the Full OST ($1.99 USD) or the Making Of Book ($4.99 USD)!
Since the game has been released I've seen a couple people mention a bug. I'm currently looking into this, and I'll hopefully have a fix out soon.
I encourage everyone to kindly let me know if they encounter any bugs/issues in the community hub area. I'll try my best to address the issues!
But please keep in mind that I am a single developer, and this game is not my full time job, so sometimes I may be slow when it comes to fixes and responding.
