We wanted to make the game JUST a bit less dark, but still appropriately twisted, so we went for a more cartoony look. We're also hoping to release the game on Switch, so a clearer image will help make sense of the action even on a smaller screen.
On top of that, we have a new game mode! In KING OF THE HILL, the player must clear the predetermined area of all competitors and keep it so - until the time runs out.
To keep the carnage slick and smooth, we´ve upgraded the enemy AI and implemented better controls. AI drone babies are more challenging than ever - their unique behaviors in the different game modes keep you on your toes.
Our labor has been fruitful and we have entered the final trimester - the Early Access launch.

You´ve wishlisted the game and are looking forward to getting your hands on these quirky toddlers. Well, we have a little surprise for you - a small demo to get you going. You´ll find yourself in a post-apocalyptic playground but not to mingle with other infants, but to best them in battle. Meet your first hero babies, try your hand against those pesky drone-children and get your taste of competitive exploding.

Time to lift the veil and talk about different game modes we have planned for you. Take a look.
In all of the game modes, the simple control scheme remains the same - you move around with directional controls and blast a pressure wave with ANY button. The blast radius and force grows as you keep the button pressed.
A big part of the fun will be The Tournament - you can set the game modes and maps to play on, the amount of matches, the amount of rounds in a match and the winning conditions for a round (where applicable) and track the success (and failure!) of you and your friends over a whole night of intense baby exploding action.
The core gameplay mechanics are already implemented and we're now in the process of designing the game modes and maps for the initial Early Access release. There will be plenty to choose from at the beginning, with more content added steadily as we get nearer to final release. We will communicate on the exact amount and type of content in a later post.
