Space Haven is preparing for a Full Release in 2026. The exact date will be announced in the near future. With this goal in mind we have already made multiple smaller updates this year, and will continue on that path up until the Full Release.
We will keep updating with various Improvements, Quality of Life updates, and new features and content we still want available for the full release. The updates up until the Full Release will be named Release Candidate (RC) updates.
Release Candidate 2 Update Patch Notes
Improved Logistics - Multi-Box Carry
Crew member and logistics bots will now be able to carry more than 1 crates.
We've worked on the logistics system and implemented support for a so called multi-box (crate) carry feature. The current range is between 1 to 3 crates. Logistics bot are now also able to haul 3 crates at a time. The Salvage Bot stays at 1 crate.
Not all crew members will be able to carry more than 1 crate. The carry capacity depends on their stats, with the zest value increasing the capacity. Additionally some traits give an additional carry capacity. Some conditions, like post-surgery conditions will temporarily decrease the carry capacity.
Improved Logistics AI
Crew members can now sometimes pick up stuff on the way if they the see an opportunity for it.
Crew members and logistic bots are now able to be a little more effective at checking whether they can pick up another crate on their way to their destination, already holding a crate or two. Note that this won't happen every time, but they will sometimes be able to evaluate and pick up an additional box on their path.
Improved Shuttle - Max Resource Capacity 20
The shuttle is now capable of loading 20 resource crates into its storage for transportation.
We've increased the resource storage capacity of shuttle from 10 to 20. This will enable the shuttles to be more effective when transporting resources between ships or stations.
Improved Trading - Trade 20 Items At a Time
Trades can now be done with 20 resources items at a time instead of 10.
We've increased the maximum items per trade from 10 to 20. This will help make trades be carried out more smoothly and allow for less consecutive trades needed for larger resource amounts.

Full Patch Notes
Improved Logistics: Made crew members capable of carrying more than one box. Their carry capacity is determined by their individual stats.
Improved Logistics: Logistics bots can carry up to three at a time while Salvage Bots stay at one.
Improved Logistics: Items can be bundled together into a box that the crew member can carry.
Improved Logistics AI: Crew members are now able to be a little more effective at checking whether they can pick up another crate on their way to their destination, already holding a crate or two.
Improved Shuttle: Increased the shuttle resource amount capacity from 10 to 20.
Improved Trading: Increased the max items per trade from 10 to 20.
Improved Trading/Transfers: Increased the airlock resource storage from 10 to 20.
Made it possible to select the special sectors/bases in the starmap in station game mode.
Added instructions on how to execute an away mission and how to migrate also to the starmap when selecting a target sector.
Added crew members for hire to some NPC ships. Station Mode should now also have crew for hire in NPC ships.
Made it not possible to take a loan from a faction if a settlement is unpaid.
New graphics for the Energium Generator.
Added some more crew members to the farming station, as it only had 4 to 6 before.
Lowered the defaults on Rogue bot, alien and nebula presence in Station Mode Normal, Builder and Peaceful difficulties. Harsh set to one step lower on Rogue bots presence.
Fixed bugs with the Blueprint errors No Path to Storages and Waiting for other jobs to finish. (Will not directly fix this type of error in a saved game. If you load a saved game the blueprints need to be removed and placed again.)
Fixed the restrictions on the Hull Stabilizer to better allow placement of blueprints.
Fixed problems with Research Workbench. Crew carrying too many items or wrong items to it.
Fixed an issue with Rogue Bots instantly spawning in a migrated sector if they were incoming or present in the previous home sector that was migrated from.
Fixed some issues with crew/robots carrying multiple crates.
Fixed an issue with Black Market trades not working.
Fixed an issue with not being able to move an Airlock.
Fixed problems with carrying unconscious crew in away missions.
Fixed problems with pathfinding.
Fixed bugs.
Space Haven Full Release - Current Target is Q2 (May/June) of 2026
Space Haven's current Full Release target set at Q2 of 2026 - Specifically May or June.
We are rapidly nearing the full release of Space Haven, and we currently have a target of releasing either in May or June of 2026. We will announce a specific date in the near future, as we work towards solidifying a good release spot for Space Haven.

Duration: While up to 3 minutes is allowed, the ideal length for engagement often remains 15–60 seconds, as retention can drop after the first minute.

We collaborated with our composer to create a new main menu with new main menu music. 
Start Crew Appearance: You can now customize the head type, skin color, hair color, outfit and sleeves.
The old shuttle and craft inventory has been improved to be more clear.
