With prize(s)! Hey everyone, we're going to be doing a tournament in Elemental Connection (nee ECON), the 2-player game of matching tiles.
RULES
Each contestant competes against every other contestant once only.
Contestants will do a single 1-v-1 match against each other at a time they choose.
Players can choose to play their game live for everyone to see, or play it in private.
Both players must send a screenshot or video of the final score screen for it to count.
We're using an integrity system here. There's probably a way to cheat this but... don't! Please?
SCORING
You gain points in each match equal to your final points in that round. Even if you lose the match, you gain those points.
All of your points will be summed together and then multiplied by a Multiplier at the end.
Your Multiplier starts at 1.0. Every time you win a match, your multiplier increases by 0.1.
For you math people, your scoring equation looks like this:
T = N * (1.0 + (0.1 * V))
T = Total points
N = Sum of all points through all games
V = Number of victories
PRIZE(S)
The winner of the tournament will get a key for the next Twelve Tiles game, Social Caterpillar (Remake) on Steam.
Depending on the turnout, we might include further prizes for runner-ups. But mostly this is just a bit of fun!
