Hello All!
I'm in the process of finishing up the next major update. It may take another week to get it all done. It will add a new female main character (in her 2D and 3D forms in the attached image), 8 new levels, and a hub area that connects them. The hub will be made of pre-rendered backgrounds of the inside of a passenger train, with a 3D version of the character, in the style of games like Final Fantasy VII & VIII, Resident Evil 1 - 3, Parasite Eve, and Syberia 1 & 2. Combat areas will continue to be 2D platforming. The 2D style is unchanged in this update, but future updates will work toward making the 2D and 3D elements match more closely in tone and atmosphere.
