Version 1.0.5 of the Revival Update
Here's a list of the fixes and additions to the Revival Update. Fixed the "Still Just Rocks" achievement progression. Fixed an issue with the Ending V achievement. Modified how the dialogue box scaled to accommodate longer lines in other languages. Steam Cloud integration. Gamepa

Fixed the "Still Just Rocks" achievement progression.
Fixed an issue with the Ending V achievement.
Modified how the dialogue box scaled to accommodate longer lines in other languages.
Steam Cloud integration.
Gamepad support fully implemented.
Disabled the player inputs once you free Charon.
Updated Lilith's cabin door line once you free Charon.
Fixed an issue with the statue's hitbox in the church levels.
The original game has been moved to a beta branch. Unfortunately, we have been unable to fix the Windows 11 issue in the 2017 version. We'll submit the game for Steam Deck approval, but you can play through it with no problem now! Please consider leaving a review if you enjoyed the game! They'll help get more eyes on the game. Version 1.0.4 of the Revival Update
Here's a list of the fixes and additions to the Revival Update. Made the interactable hook in Lilith's manor more obvious. Music and sound tweaks in Lilith's manor. Modified the navigation data in Lilith's manor to avoid having monsters stand right in front of hiding spots. Fixed

Made the interactable hook in Lilith's manor more obvious.
Music and sound tweaks in Lilith's manor.
Modified the navigation data in Lilith's manor to avoid having monsters stand right in front of hiding spots.
Fixed the new achievements not triggering correctly.
Patched a sequence break that unlocked Ending III.
Prevented the hell church's "package" from being carried over in death.
Player is no longer prompted to enter the Qanat if they have reached Lilith's manor.
Added chase music when the clock bell strikes in the manor.

Here's a list of the fixes and additions to the Revival Update. Fixed the headless door in the church permutation number 2 and 3. Modified the statue's collision and disabled the hit volume before it starts chasing the player. Added an eremite in the church levels to better tutor
Here's a list of the fixes and additions to the Revival Update.

Fixed the headless door in the church permutation number 2 and 3.
Modified the statue's collision and disabled the hit volume before it starts chasing the player.
Added an eremite in the church levels to better tutorialize the statue.
Added the missing dialogue to the eremite hiding in the Other World level.
Visions in the hell church levels are now randomized.
Added some lights in the lava pits in the death level permutation 2 and 3.
Fixed an issue with the volume controls.
Changed throw prompt introduction to make the player have to throw to remove the prompt.
Added a kill plane to all levels as an emergency way of bringing back the physics actors and the player if they fall out of the map.
Disabled Qanat levels once in church.

The Revival Update is here! Get ready to experience the chilling horrors of Little Vale like never before! Helltown has been remade and drastically improved:

New models and animations!
Improved environments and level design!
Improved gameplay mechanics!
New dialogues and an improved storyline!
New soundtrack by Ockeroid, composer of the excellent Crow Country ost!
The endings have also been changed and two new achievements have been added. The original game will be added to a beta branch and we'll also make a guide for the new ways to unlock the different endings.

The Helltown Revival Update launches tomorrow at 1 pm EDT!! This enormous update remakes the game and will offer you a fresh new experience. Here are some of the things that have been added:

Monsters and characters have been redesigned and have new animations.
The story and lore have been reimagined. The endings have changed and there are a lot more dialogues to read.
The gameplay has been completely revamped and a lot of the level design has been improved. We even have new mechanics!
The art direction and theming have also been improved.
There are new sounds sprinkled throughout the game. We also had the chance to get a new OST by Ockeroid, the composer of Crow Country!
We hope you're looking forward to diving back into Little Vale and its many horrors! If you enjoy the update, please consider leaving a review or updating your old one! Word of mouth is the biggest thing that can contribute to Helltown's success (other than the game being good of course). Since we're not partnering up with a publisher for this project, our reach is very limited, so thank you for your support!
