Hello! The 1.1.7 update is out. It basically fixes minigames related bugs, and some small tweaks to their difficulty to reduce overall frustration.
Changes & Fixes:
Minor text corrections.
Splash screen logo transitions are faster.
Fixed the disappearing die issue in the die roll minigame.
The spiky ball minigame is a bit more responsive. Keep in mind there's a 0.05s click cooldown to reduce click spamming.
The slot machine’s maximum scroll speed has been decreased.
The 4x4 swapping tiles memory minigame now switches only 10 times instead of 12. Swap time was also slightly decreased.
Please, let me know if I broke something else :ChipWink:
Or if you have suggestions for improvements, feel free to share them in the pinned posts.

I apologize for neglecting the forums; at some point, I simply stopped visiting and completely forgot about the project. So, if you find any more bugs, no matter how small, please email me at [email protected], and I’ll address them as soon as I can.
Thanks for understanding!

This patch is aimed to make the game a bit more comfortable. A new menu option was added to activate the potentially dangerous but fast Instant-Click-Chording. (Hovering this option also explains all the ways to chord if you left this option disabled)
Summary:
Added a One-Click instant chording option to the settings menu (Left or Right clicking a number will auto-chord immediately. Disabled by default)
The Changes-Log box is now scrollable with the mouse wheel.
Windowed mode option converted to single checkbox next to resolution selector.
Blacksmith sprite was slightly modified (Reduced jaw protrusion and edited collarbone color)
Anyway... let me know if I broke anything! ːChipWinkː

Hello, hope you are all doing well!
Just passing by to announce a small patch/bugfix for some of the reports in the bug's thread (Technically not a patch, as the engine was updated too, but oh well...). This took me a bit longer than intended as I had to upgrade the engine version and a lot of things broke down. Hopefully this will extend the game compatibility for the years to come.
PD: I replayed the game, and there are a few things I would like to discuss with you about the design and leaderboards. I didn't want to do drastic changes without getting your opinion first, so I'll soon start a thread in the forums with more information.
Anyhow, the changes for this version:
Ported from Unity 5 to Unity 2017.
Fixed a score system glitch: The score bonus was carrying over to the next match when retrying a tower.
Many texts were rewritten, significantly reducing grammar and spelling errors.
Some parts of the credits can now be skipped forward (Different than Escape skip).
Chest sequence is now 0.5s shorter.
The [new] notification appeared in the themes menu for the last selectable box, even though this theme is not yet available for selection.
Fixed 'Classick' achievement being unlocked at random after opening the classic mode menu.
Fixed several UIs going out of bounds in ultrawide resolutions.
Tooltip frame vertical position was not scaling relative to display height.
"Potentially fixed" an error where the themes menu would loop itself after returning to the previous menu (Could not reproduce, but enforced a solution, let me know if anyone get stuck there again!)
In-Match pause menu music volume slider was not working properly.
Fixed a main menu text scaling issue (texts were larger than they should before hovering)
Fixed several non-framerate independent animations.
The Hangman minigame had two guessable words with spelling errors (This is honestly embarrassing)
If you find any bug or glitches, or anything you would like to report, please, drop it by the bugs thread in the forums, hopefully it won't take me 6 years to fix this time ːsteamfacepalmː
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for so many years of neglect!

Hey guys, the dev here!
Let me first thank you all who has supported this project so far, just wanted to let you know we're not done by any means with this game, while we are not in early access and the game can be considered a finished project, that doesn't mean the game is in its final state.
So far the game seems to be doing good, but lets face it, it has its flaws and needs some refinements, what is more, there is plenty of room to fit new content and improve the experience. Actually, the game was not released before, mostly because of uncertainty, I really didn't have a proper open testing phase and in consequence some ideas were implemented well and some others might feel a bit vague or inconclusive at times, but without enough feedback is hard to judge the final picture.
I've got many exciting ideas to include, so as long as we see fit for improvement I'll be willing to keep updating it regularly. Gameplay will probably change in the future, most of the current features can be enhanced without compromising the overall experience, however, I'll need your invaluable feedback while doing so.
I'll post regularly about the planned features for the next updates, that information will be in the pinned thread "Upcoming features", which hopefully will be seen by everyone who read the in-game notifications (Included in today released v 1.0.1).
Before releasing a new version, I'll always notify about a small testing phase, there are currently two "branches" on Steam when you are about to install Downbreak, the default branch which holds the stable version and the testing branch which might contain a recent version of current update. All changes can be seen in the Changes Log tab in the main menu, and everyone is welcome to test it if they feel like doing so, and please provide feedback about bugs, balance issues and overall experience.
Next Tuesday 17th we'll be discussing relevant information about the next big update, I need some time to organize the ideas and pick the most relevant points so you can give your opinion afterward, I'll notify you through in-game notifications anyway.
An additional note: Sometimes I will be gone from forums simply because I'm working on the updates, so excuse me if I give late replies at times, if something too important needs to be answered ASAP, you can write me directly to my email.
Btw, Congratulations to "MousseMoose" for beating my score on tower one!.
Wishing you all the best,
Emmanuel (earrgames).
