Verto Studio 2.5's VertoJS scripting support now adds programmable features running inside Verto Studio.
This means you can program your own 3D scripts for Verto Studio and run them in VR to do almost anything. Use VertoJS to add custom 3D modeling features, VR prototypes, educational classroom experiences or projects, procedural animations, and more!
Existing official scripts can be downloaded from the official repository here
For community help on learning and using VertoJS, check out the official Verto Studio Discord.
Additionally the following changes have been made:
This version can now publish scenes to Verto Studio Cloud
Fix bugs related to Verto Studio Cloud
Added settings option to make dismissal of modal slates more difficult when selecting outside their bounds.
Toned down the intensity of the haptic pulse when ray-targeting objects.
Haptic pulse (selection feedback) is now off by default.

I pushed out the update for 2.4.3 last night. This is now updated to have the same user-experience as the oculus quest and to support the new verto studio cloud migration.
The biggest change you will notice is the way the swipe/thumbstick tools operate now in a radial tool selector.
Users may also notice that the left-hand / right-hand switch can be made easier by just using the trigger on either hand, and that the fly tool's rotate functionality has been moved to the right hand grip button instead of the left trigger.
There is more news regarding the Oculus Quest release which I will post in the community discussions.

We've pushed out a fresh new update tonight that adds a number of exciting VR UX features to Verto Studio VR. Here's a short list of what's new:
VR Object Library (VR mode) - You can now drag and drop previews of all prefabs into your scene in VR mode. It's never been easier to add objects in Verto Studio VR
New prefabs added to object library (VR mode) - Select the "more" button from the object library to reveal over 20 fun new models that you can readily drag into your scene!
Scale Tool improvements (VR mode) - The scale tool now has been updated to prevent wildly scaling objects too large/small too quickly
Anti aliased desktop mode rendering (Desktop mode) - Lets be honest, desktop mode renderings were jagged and looked like crap before. Now anti-aliasing settings will also apply to desktop mode renderings (requires starting application in desktop mode or without VR device plugged in)
Thanks so much to everyone who supported by purchasing during early access. We've stamped out the bugs and added the requested new features. I hope everyone loves this tool as much as I loved creating it for you. Major new features: - Hold right menu button during drag to lock it

Hey Everyone. Your feedback sofar has been very valuable. I pushed build 3 out tonight which fixes bugs related to extrude, undo, per-axis locking, selection modes, documents being incorrectly hidden in the file browser, and more! I also made the context-sensitive menus accessibl
Hey Everyone. Your feedback sofar has been very valuable.
I pushed build 3 out tonight which fixes bugs related to extrude, undo, per-axis locking, selection modes, documents being incorrectly hidden in the file browser, and more!
I also made the context-sensitive menus accessible now via pressing either the left touchpad (as before) or the menu button just above it on the left controller (or right in left-handed mode).
I'm putting together a big video tutorial series on how to create an entire VR scene in Verto Studio in VR mode. It's coming along and I'll be happy to post that once it is near completion!
Thanks everyone!
