Dear Players, today is the day! Bad Dream: Purgatory is now available in version 2.0!
So basically... I remade this project from scratch.
List of changes:
I changed gameplay style form 2.5D to side-scrolling (Let's be honest... it was a below average 3D project and now it's a very competent point and click game)
Full Point & Click mode - You can choose a static camera mode, so the gameplay is basically the same as in my other games
Introduction - I added a short 2D location serving as a transition between Bad Dream: Fever and Purgatory.
Vastly Improved Graphics - I learned how to draw so my games look better now :P
Interactive Environment
End Game Screens for Open World Mode - It's not much but now there is a "tombstone screen" that changes depending on some decisions the player has made.
Custom music and sound effects - I learned how to compose my own music and I bought a microphone to record my own SFX. I also created a lot of synth SFX using synth.
Sound Environments - SFX sound different in different rooms (echo, muffled sound, etc.)
Custom Fonts - I drew them for Bad Dream: Afterlife and I love them to this day
(The first version is still available for download as the "old version" - tutorial in the pinned post)

I'll be honest this day is VERY important for me for many reasons.
First of all - I made this game completely alone. I wasn't able to record all SFX myself, but I recorded A LOT. Other than that I did everything and I'm 100% sure it's not visible. I hate that I even need to say this but... NO AI. I learned how to do everything.
Another thing. I always avoided this topic, but I made Purgatory right after my brother passed away. Back then I wanted to use Bad Dream to work through my pain. But as you can see... I kinda lost interest in making this game dark and I chose to go in another direction. That showed me that I was no longer the same person who made Butcher, Graveyard or even Coma. It was one of the worst times of my life and somehow Nicolas made laugh. I love how he simply "refuses" to be a part of a horror.
And the last thing - I always hated the quality of this game. I was proud of myself that I tried the new thing, but it eating me alive how "low quality" it turned out to be. And since I'm independent I couldn't afford to fix it. I don't even know how to explain this but something just "clicked" in my head while I was working on Bad Dream: Afterlife and now I can do this.
Today all Bad Dream games are high quality and I can't even believe it. For the first time ever it doesn't matter how low my budget is, that I work alone. No excuses. My games can finally speak for themselves!
Thank you all for supporting me and I hope you are also proud of how much progress we have made :)
Now. Faded Stories: Greenberg - You are next.

Dear players, Bad Dream: Stories just received a HUGE update!
Long story short - I remade everything from scratch using my vastly improved skills and code! The changes include:
Dear players! This is a particularly important moment in my career! For the first time in my life, I created my own music! This means that, excluding sound effects, I've created everything in my game!
I'm incredibly proud of the overall quality of the game and I'm very optimistic about the future! I can't even explain how much this day means to me!
Thank you for your support and see you very soon!
Ps. Im aware I ended all sentences with exclamation mark, but I'm REALLY happy :P
Dear players, I'm very happy to announce that Bad Dream: Afterlife is finally out!
This has been a really challenging project, so thank you all for your patience and support! I hope you enjoy the results as much as I do!
This is the first project where I fully handled the graphics, music, dialogue, and programming. I don't know if I can express myself in a better way. I finally feel like my game represents "world-class" game development level. And from now on, it can only get better!

I can't wait to hear your feedback! Thanks again to everyone for your support!
Oh! I also recommend following my creator's Steam page, as I have a few surprises planned :)
Bad Dream: Afterlife is a return to the series' roots, and the beginning of a new era! Bad Dream: Purgatory concluded the storyline that had been going on since 2013 (it started with Bad Dream: Butcher). All the characters have a good ending, but life goes on. Unfortunately... It's naive to think that "happily ever after" is a realistic ending. Only the dead can't feel pain and sadness.
Once again it's time to fall asleep and experience the nightmare...
