Thanks for giving a try to our native Sketchfab VR app and sharing feedback here! We are humbled to see it has been so well received.
Looks like the undisputed request is to give access to the entire Sketchfab library from the native app. While we are definitely planning to do so, there are still technical limitations regarding the use of WebVR in a native app, but we are working on it.
In the meantime, we've doubled down on our WebVR support, making sure browsing Sketchfab in VR from the web is a great experience:
- we shipped a VR interface for the site itself, so you can browse any content thread (a user, a collection, a category... ) in VR
- we've added teleportation, so you can navigate more freely in the scene.
- we've added content scaling, to let you dynamically chance the content size
- we have released a VR scene editor, so you can setup your scenes for VR browsing.
To experience Sketchfab VR on the web, you just need to get a WebVR enabled browser like chromium (check out http://webvr.info for download links). You can give it a try right here by click on Mars below.
We will keep you posted on our VR support progress here, including how the native app is coming together.
