Heya, long time no see! Have you enjoyed your nightmares thus far?
Thanks to the help of Kuro2427, meedokzy, Doresun and Last penguin, IMSCARED is finally available in Brazilian-Portuguese and Russian! I'll add more localizations in the future, but we'll talk more about that in a dedicated Discussion!
I've also fixed some stuff down the line, but my memory is failing me more than ever... Sheesh, I'm getting old.
Please let me know if there's any problem with this update, I'll try to solve anything as soon as possible!
I'm also trying to solve the nefarious issue for which the game closes but Steam still perceives it as open, I don't think I can do anything about it, but I'll try nonetheless.
Lastly, I would like to present you my Patreon page: I'm uploading all my weird and/or canned projects there, feel free to check it out if you want to stay in touch with my future projects! (the only game available there is the reason for which I went radio silent). But don't worry, if you're one of those exquisite people that followed the rabbit in the streets you already know we're not done with IMSCARED.
Thanks a bunch for sticking with IMSCARED up to this point, and sorry for all the wait. Life can be messy and mine is really taking a toll on me, but I suppose you should just keep pushing onwards. So onwards we'll go!
Ivan
Edit: forgot to put the patreon page here, I told you I'm losing my mind ain't I? ːcoolfaceː
MyMadnessWorks PatreonHey, long time no see! How are you doing? I'm fine, back hurts a bit but as long as I can keep making stuff I'm happy. Today marks IMSCARED's 10th anniversary . Can you believe that? It's been so long since IMSCARED's first iteration back in 2012. I was less than a small indiedev
...You came a long way, my child! Look at you, all toned down and marked by time. Just like me.

If you’re at all interested in horror games and haven’t already played IMSCARED [Steam Page], you should go and play it right now. The version released on Steam just over a week ago is longer than the free version that you can play on Game Jolt, and I’d be tempted to jump straight into the main course, but the 2012 release is still a beauty.
‘Beauty’ might seem like the wrong word. Even if you’re a fan of retro graphics, and the subtitle “A Pixelated Nightmare” tells you what to expect in that regard, IMSCARED is a grainy and grim beast. The reason I suggest you trust my recommendation and play it right away is that to know too much before starting would be a shame. IMSCARED wants to surprise you and it does some very unusual things to achieve its goal.
