Make your time, easier
Veteran SSDT players may not have known they were playing Season Mode on Expert this whole time... Now there's four Season Mode difficulty levels accessible through the title screen Options menu!
Easy: For a more chill time in Season Mode, this lowers the difficulty. The difficulty will still scale with your opponent's rank, but it is overall much easier to win games.
Advanced: This takes just a bit of the edge off, but is still challenging.
Expert: The default mode, the way it was intended.
Redink: Choose this only if you like pain.
The Season Mode difficulty setting only affects Season Mode games, and it has no effect on 'chievos or the Season Mode endings. That is to say: You won't be rewarded or punished for choosing the difficulty, and you can change it any time you like from the title screen Options menu.
But wait, there's more!
Season Mode now remembers your previous team roster, so if you have a favorite squad this new feature will save you precious seconds.
Your CPU teammates have been upgraded and they will hang around more useful locations during play.
Both teams' CPU players should be less twitchy.
In Quick Match, the "Training" level CPU difficulty has been made to be easier, less aggressive and nearly decorative.

Steam Deck Update
This update is for the Steam Deck owners. Take SSDT with you on the go! The Steam Deck handles the game great, and now Super Slam Dunk Touchdown looks like it was made for the portable device. This build is 16:10 optimized while still making the most of ultrawide monitors on PC.

Things just got a little easier
After fixing an AI bug, the AI was too good! The difficulty was ramping up to hard. It is now much friendlier and even cuts you some slack on some of the "shadier" challenges. Secret CPU v CPU mode now randomizes the difficulty of each time for more entertaining viewing.

Partial Spanish language support: Spanish on all UI buttons, player stats and some other UI elements as well.
Lock icon added for locked players in Challenge Mode
CPU levels 2 and 3 are more challenging in Free-For-All mode
American Football player has a greater penalty for missing a tackle
More city and sports team names added to name generator
New "Free-For-All" achievement
If sudden death is on, there is no longer a normal "OVERTIME" round before sudden death kicks in (previous behavior was intentional, but ended up confusing people)
Bug Fixes

Can no longer select characters on a team that is full (player icons restricted to the open team's half of the screen)
Title "post-wiggle" fix
CPU players much better at dunking!
Season Mode colors locked (oops!) -- stay tuned for Season Mode later this year!
End game/round "moon walking" and other odd behavior fixed
CPU player icons revert to black & white after removing them from your team
"Pause at game over screen" bug fixed
Scoring glitch fixed in Free-For-All mode
