This summer, Dead by Daylight and Move or Die try to play nice together in the aptly dubbed Thrill of the Hunt Update! Surprised? Careful, that’s one of the first steps in getting yourself murdered.
Here’s what you’ll find or, more probably, what may find you in this killer collaboration!
All of the new characters and cosmetics will be unlocked at random by playing online matches.
Last but not least, we’re unlocking 6 New Community Debt Characters for you to enjoy. As per usual, all you have to do to unlock them is contribute to the ever-increasing Community Debt Bar.

To get this new Rare-rated game mode all you have to do is provide the appropriate amount of Not-Coins and enjoy the havoc.
Another thing worth mentioning is that the drop rates for game modes and mutators has been tweaked since the 6 Year Anniversary Update rolled out and we’d really appreciate the community’s input on this change and if it’s been noticeable so far. Please let us know in the comments or on our dedicated Discord channel. We're really trying to find a good balance for this, that makes the unlocks feel rewarding for everyone involved.
That's right, some of you die-hard fans have been playing our party game for 6 whole years! Time sure flies when you're having fun! Doesn't it just fill you with existential dread? Now, let's all calm down a little bit and finally get back to addressing those promises that we made.
First of all, we finally have a new game mode in the pipeline!!! It's not launching today, as we're still doing some last minute balancing and testing, but you shall be able to play it very soon.
This first new game mode is called Pandora's Blast! We don't wanna spoil too much about it, but you can be sure that avoiding those demonic eyes is gonna be one of your top priorities.
Complementing the new mode, we have the titular Pandora’s Box as a character! This box loves making people miserable, and hopefully you can use it to make your friends hate you even more than they already do. I mean, that's the point of the game right?
You can get Pandora's Box by simply playing an online match during the next couple of weeks.
But the box ain’t all, as we have a whole slew of new characters coming to the Community Debt Unlock Bar! Some quick spoilers below, for your personal enjoyment.
Wow, we are really getting stuffed with characters, huh? And speaking of the Community Debt Bar, remember all of last year's characters? Well, since you've most likely missed some of them, we're giving you a second chance. All of the 2021 released cosmetics will now be available in the Not-A-Store and Bid Wars rotation.
Of course, this means a new Daily Contribution season is starting today, so your previous progress has been reset.
As promised, there's a whole lot of bug fixes and quality of life improvements that we plan on bringing to the game in 2022. This update will contain the first set of changes that we think will make the game more stable and enjoyable. To check out the most recent changes, please head on out to the 
A special snowflake of a character will also be added to the Move or Die roster. His name is Deepflake and what makes him unique is that he won’t be coming to the

We’re happy to be continuing our localization endeavours with a thrilling new chapter! This time it’s got grandeur, it’s got grit and even a dash of danger, so without further ado please welcome The Grand Russian Heist mini-update, complete with a new and improved Russian language localization! It hasn’t been easy, but as with any heist, we expect a big payout by the end.
But the lovely Russian language isn’t all we bring to the table, there are also three brand-new heist-themed characters that can’t wait to crack some in-game skulls.
There’s the stern but fair Barry - our trusted security guard that may or may not be in on the whole thing. Then comes Egg-Eggovich, the priceless egg-shaped artefact that makes-up this mini-update’s main object of desire and, last but not least, Ma’Trioshka - the last line of defence in a highly sophisticated security system. Think of her like a frag grenade disguised as a museum exhibit. We hope you’ll have as much fun playing them as we had dreaming them up!
But this heist thing is a two-way deal. We get to steal the love and appreciation of the Russian people and all of you get to steal Move or Die for 75% off as part of The Steam Autumn Sale going on between November 24th and December 1st! Win-win? We think so too!
This will probably be all we have in store in terms of localization updates for this year, but as per usual, we highly appreciate the reporting of any language bugs or other feedback you think would be of use.
Thank you for supporting Move or Die throughout our 5th year! We won’t be done yet though. Expect one last hurrah this year with the new Winter Holiday Mini-Update in December when we’ll also talk about what’s to come in 2022. *Spoilers - it won’t just be new cosmetics.
