Hello all,
It seems like an eternity since the last news regarding The Tower was dropped, back in August I believe, and yes...without any updates, that was WAY too long.
To start with, here are four brand new images, all rendered in game at 4K resolution. Stunning, no?
Over the last six months, The Tower has been going through some crazy Unity 5 redesigning, as well as some thorough Oculus Rift implementation.
This is all for us to worry about though, but apart from the huge developmental issues, I personaly would like to bring to light some Community awareness matters and feedback, that have given us (but mostly me) some sleepless nights. This is going to be supremely honest...
I understand the Community frustration and anger over the lack of updates to The Tower (and some of our other titles as well) and the feeling that seven months without an update, can lead to allegations of 'scamming' or some other description of development neglect, but I want/need to inform you, our players, that this simply isn't the case.
We don't always inform the Community as much as I would like to be able to, and as I can see, this can have a devastating effect on future trust and positivity within our Community. I would like to know how we can build this trust back up to you all, starting with more frequent updates and transparency on the process of development with our game/s.
We want to build bridges and repair the damage that may have been done, through either helping those affected and no longer willing to support The Tower with getting a refund, or in some other fashion.
We dropped the ball. Several times. And I applogise for all of us and to you all, for whatever upset or anger it may have caused you.
This is us wanting to wipe the slate clean...to establish a better foundation than we had mid-2014.
Thank you for reading.

Hello everybody,
In a few days time, we'll be putting up special access to the pre-alpha version of The Tower: 2015 Edition, which will be available from Steam for the low, low price of £0.99.
We've come to realise that if we engage players now, even at this very early stage in development, we hope to acquire valuable feedback and pretty much work it in a.s.a.p. This is a build that will constantly update. Some of it might not even be playable, some of it may only be in-game cutscenes or dialogue, but we hope you can start to see the differences immediately.
Here's a short FAQ for what to expect:
q) The pre-alpha is cheap. Why?
a) The pre-alpha at this stage, is exactly that. Experimental and unfinished. You can help us shape it's future by seeing what we're doing and giving feedback. It all helps!
q) If I buy the pre-alpha, will I receive the final version for free?
a) No. The pre-alpha will only contain content up until Beta. After that, the game will be considered 'shaped' and all further development will be locked until release.
q) What can I expect as the pre-alpha develops?
a) Story chapters to finalise, first-look gameplay and your name in the credits if you choose to help!
The pre-alpha will be live in a few days, so stay tuned!
***UPDATE: Scratch that. We've decided to generate 50 Alpha Keys to give away for FREE, to those who request them below. Fifty people is far easier to manage and communicate with! Once you have your key, you can access the 'Beta' tab, by right clicking on The Tower in your Steam library and opting in via the drop down box.

The Tower alpha will support the majority of these features, in the next MAJOR update:
- Full Controller Support
- Steam Achievements
- New Lead Vocals
- Brand New Script
- Unity 5 Engine Refinements
- The Tower 'REBOOT' Version (this will completely overwrite the existing game and replace it with a brand new, polished experience that maintains the core Tower mechanics, but adds a AAA quality layer of visual gravy)
This will be a MASSIVE update for The Tower and will take a few months to implement. Each episode will be larger in scale, the dungeons themselves far less linear and encounters with guards terrifying and completely reworked!
Thanks for sticking by!
