It's been a short 7 years (yikes), but I come bearing news and updates for your favorite mouse-based sound-dodging bullet extravaganza, and I'm not talking about
Soundodger 2. I put together a short and sweet trailer, for the first time in 60fps and in 1440p! A bit excessive for an old Flash game, but I think it was worth it:

I Made This
The rumors are true; Soundodger+ is
now under new ownership - Studio Bean! That's right, we are now the sole developer and publisher for all Studio Bean games on Steam (...and technically
itch). The circumstances under which this all happened are well-documented
elsewhere, and for legal reasons I'm not at liberty to mention the name of the former publisher, but I assure you the unmarked van across the street packed with lawyers is in no way using binoculars to watch me type this out.
Wait, there's a sequel!?
Before we get to the good stuff, I wanted to softly remind you that in the time since last update, an entirely new
sequel to Soundodger+ has graced Steam, and it's available for you today! If you're reading this, you likely don't need any more info than that to be excited (and let's be honest, you might already own the game already - thanks!), so I'll just let this embedded widget lead you on your path:

Let's Cover Our Options
With the celebration of becoming the publisher for Soundodger+, I felt it was an excellent opportunity to make a long-awaited update to the game! There's a 10-year-long history with this game I certainly didn't want to tamper with, so the update is made up of smaller stuff that bothered me that I really felt needed to be addressed, rather than fixing bugs players rely on for their levels to work. Most importantly, the
Options Menu has been revamped and is now available from anywhere in the game - Title Screen, Level Select, Pause Menu, and In Editor. You might recognize the new sound effects from
another game, but don't worry about that.
