Scope and upstream sources

This licence covers the dataset as compiled and published here, and in particular the
columns derived by SteamFPS (the Steam Machine / Steam Deck / Steam Frame playability
verdicts and the spec-fit signals).

Other columns reproduce factual information originating elsewhere, and are included with
attribution rather than claimed as original work:

  - Game titles, release years, genres, compatibility categories, controller-support
    levels and recommended system requirements originate from Valve's Steam store
    listings. SteamFPS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve
    Corporation. "Steam", "Steam Deck", "Steam Machine", "Steam Frame" and "SteamOS"
    are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
  - Proton compatibility tiers, report counts and confidence levels are community
    contributions published by ProtonDB (protondb.com).
  - Measured Steam Deck frame-rates are community measurements published by
    deck-verified.games.

Where those upstream sources impose their own terms, those terms continue to apply to the
underlying information. Nothing here is intended to assert rights over facts that are not
ours to license.

DERIVED — inferred from compatibility data and a published spec model — and are not
measured benchmarks unless a row explicitly carries a measured frame-rate column. Do not
